| Hello and welcome please take the time and review our contract as we feel that it represents all parties involved Valley Kennels, the Pup/Dog, and potential new owner. (all pups must have a signed contract before delivery to new owners.) |
Thank you for choosing Valley Kennels Cane Corso as the breeder for your
new family member. We hope that you will be more than happy with your
loving and loyal companions; here at Johnson Cane Corso our most
important goal is to have 100% adoption satisfaction.
Please feel free to go over our terms and regulations below.
We as the breeder will be here for all of our new extended family members for any
questions before or after the adoptions of your new Cane Corso puppy!! This is
always important when raising your puppy!! You must also know the Cane
Corso is a Dominate, Guardian Breed and is not for everyone!!!! Please
make sure that you do your research and ask lots of questions before
you adopt your new Cane Corso puppy so you are aware of what and how to raise
your new Cane Corso puppy!!

Explain any other terms and conditions: Adoption deposits are non-refundable.
Which is 500.00 us dollars and required to hold any Cane Corso puppy till eight
weeks of age then final agreement are due. If agreement is not met at eight weeks
of age of the pup!! We will then put your deposits to next litter
available at the time not all ready adopted !! Buyer understands that Mother
Nature will not always be cooperative. In event a Cane Corso puppy of requested
sex or quality is not born, individuals will have choice from next litter of
puppies not already adopted. Johnson Cane Corso will do our best to get the
color of your preference, but color has no barring on which dogs are
chosen when picking a show/breed quality pup!!!
unless it is regarding weather conditions, Airline faults,) pup must
leave on said date that is set between buyer and Johnsons Cane Corso.
Guarantees:
All Johnsons Cane Corso puppies, unless specified above, are offered with
Club registration papers and a three (3) year guarantee against a
puppy crippled by congenital hip dysplasia. It is in our best interest to
provide you with an wonderful healthy loving pup, We send all Cane Corso puppies
out with a written health guarantee, In order for this health guarantee to be
valid, the following conditions must be met:
1.) All puppies must carry the Johnsons Cane Corso name on the
registration papers. (Example: JOHNSON'S BIKO di your Name) this is the
only way it must be written no other way!!
2.) Said dog remains current on all vaccinations and dewormings,
including all puppy shots recommended by a licensed veterinarian. The next
vaccination is due on:

You must take your Cane Corso Puppy to a licensed veterinarian within a 48 hour
from
date of delivery, failure to do so will result in all guarantees to be
canceled. The Johnson family takes no responsibility for any
communicable diseases after the 72 hours. If a serious heath problem occurs with
in the 48 hours of adopting the Cane Corso puppy with written documentation from a
licenses veterinarian, we will replace the pup with the next available
Cane Corso puppy of the same quality( defected puppy must either be given back
with all papers or you can keep the pup and just have them spay/neutered).
The written statement from your vet must be given to us within one week
of time that Cane Corso puppy was seen buy the vet and diagnosed.
Any owner with a Cane Corso puppy crippled by this congenital defect must present
the breeder with a certified letter as well as x-rays from a licensed
veterinarian within 48 hours of finding the defect. Said dog must be
returned to the breeder along with registration papers. A replacement
Cane Corso puppy will be given as soon as one becomes available.
Under no circumstances do we grant cash refunds or accept any liability
for medical expenses, veterinarian fees, or any other expenses related
to the care of your Cane Corso.
Cherry Eye and Ectropian are common with all Molloser breeds and
theses conditions are not covered by our guarantee.
New owner understands and agrees that extensive exercise before the dog is
18 months and developed is strictly prohibited. Jumping in and out of
vehicles, excessive playing on slippery surfaces and other activities
that may cause stress on undeveloped joints are absolutely 100%
unacceptable. Please if you must have your dog doing these things keep it to a
minimum.
Replacement On pups!!!
New owner assumes all shipping and handling charges!!!!!!!!!!
Johnsons Cane Corso sends all show/breed pups out as what we see them
for if your pup grows up not fit to the ICCF/FCI standard by the age of
one year of age then we will replace the pup when one comes available
from the future breeding not already adopted, with proof of pictures of
the dog from ever angle, and all proper documents. Replacement on pups
are made when puppies are available. There is no guarantee is made as to
time frame for replacement.
Cane Corso Dog/Bitch must not have been bred. Breeding of said dog listed in this
contract will void contact. Replacements are made when pups are
available. No guarantee as to time frame for replacement.
Because Health/Temperament problems are 50% genetic and 50 environment,
Johnsons Cane Corso requires some things from are exented family
members that adopt pups from us.
Proper feeding guidance!!!
We recommend Eukanuba Large Breed Puppy/Adult Food. We believe that it
is best to feed this to your pup so they have plenty of time to grow
properly!! You also want to make sure that you read the ingredients of the
labels on your chosen foods that they have meat real meat as the first
ingredients. Also to Make sure when buying any of you dogs Food that
it has Glucosamine/Chondroitin as a supplement in it this helps promote
healthy Joints and maximum Flexibility for your Cane Corso dog.
Socialization and Training!!!
New Owner agrees that when adopting one of Johnsons Cane Corso, loving
pups that they will honor and respect this breed of dog by socializing
and putting their pup through a puppy kindergarten class/basic obedient
training class. This all must be done buy six months of your Cane
Corso age, and getting a certificate for completing both classes, It also
would be a good Idea to keep up on training for your Cane Corso
throughout his/her life. Refresher courses are always a plus!!!
individual(s) understands and agrees that your Cane Corso Puppy needs allot of
personal attention and agrees to not isolate the dog in a kennel or Crate for
long periods of time. Your Cane Corso Dog must never to be chained. Buyer
understands that doing any of the above can cause behavioral problems and accepts
full responsibility if dog is subjected to the above.
Please !!!! understand that the Cane Corso is a large dominate breed. It is
the individuals responsibility to properly socialize and train the dog.
Johnsons Cane Corso accepts no liability for temperament and behavior
problems that may occur after the dog has been in the possession of the
buyer after 8 weeks. If the dog exhibits behavior that is abnormal for
the breed within the allotted time, dog is to be returned and a
replacement will be provided. Any Temperament or behavior problems that may
occur after the pup is over age 16 weeks we are not responsible and we will not
replace any pup over this age. In order to qualify for a replacement. Puppy
must have been through a puppy class and been attentive as well with
proof from the Professional dog trainer. Not having these items makes it
not valid.
In the event the any individual does not uphold to these requirements, all
guarantees are Void.
If for any reason new owner can no longer keep this dog, ownership reverts
back to Johnsons Cane Corso. individual(s) are required to return the Cane Corso
dog to Johnsons Cane Corso intact, with paperwork and is responsible for the
shipping cost. If new owner decides to sell, give away, destroy or place
this dog with a rescue without written consent from Johnsons Cane Corso, will bring
court action in the State of Ohio against buyer and buyer will be liable for a $5000
fine! Buyer agrees to not Place Johnsons Cane Corso Name on anything with out our
permission example any written documentation on bulletin boards or over any
email's or letters, Internet nothing at all. If for some reason this is
done we will take further action and that person/s will be fined $5000 us
dollars.
